NORTH PLAINS ELEMENTARY LATE START SCHEDULE:
School Doors Open at: 9:45 AM School Start Time: 10:00 AM End of Day: 3:15 pm
***Yellowfin Transportation will NOT run in the morning when there is a late start. Afternoon Bussing will run as normal.
***Breakfast will be Brown Bag, (grab and go), available for students.
Dress Kids for the Weather- MPS policy allows students to have outdoor recess to -5 actual air temperature or a wind chill of -15. It is extremely important that your child bring adequate clothing for weather conditions. This includes a winter jacket, snow pants, snow boots, hats, gloves, etc. PLEASE label all items. ***Fresh air is good for children plus the activity of recess may rejuvenate the children for the rest of the school day. If you wish to keep your child inside due to illness, your child probably is not well enough to attend school. It is required to have a note by a physician for a child to stay indoors during recess.
